Frequently asked questions

Answers about Deepdive: threaded AI chats, mind maps, supported models, pricing, and how it compares to ChatGPT.

What is Deepdive?
Deepdive is a web application for systematic learning: you explore complex topics in one workspace using threaded AI conversations, interactive mind maps, multi-model AI (GPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, DeepSeek), and YouTube research tools—without constantly switching browser tabs.
How does threaded AI conversation work?
You branch from any message into a focused sub-thread. Each thread keeps its own context while remaining connected to the parent conversation, so you can go deep on a detail without losing the main line of reasoning.
What AI models does Deepdive support?
Deepdive supports five major model families from one interface: OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), xAI (Grok), and DeepSeek. You can switch models during a conversation when your plan allows.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes daily chat, PDF, YouTube search, and mind map limits so you can try the product before upgrading to Plus or Pro for higher limits and broader model access.
How is Deepdive different from ChatGPT?
Unlike a single linear chat, Deepdive is built for structured exploration: branchable threads, mind map views of your reasoning, inline YouTube research, and the ability to swap models in one project—so long research sessions stay organized and citable.
